Driving Test Centres UK is an independent site. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency, the Department for Transport or GOV.UK. You cannot book, change or cancel a driving test here. To do any of those things, use GOV.UK.
Where the data comes from
All statistics on this site are derived from DVSA's published statistical tables:
- DRT122A — DVSA DRT122A — car practical pass rates by gender, month and test centre
- DRT122F — DVSA DRT122F — car driving test availability by driving test centre
Both are published on GOV.UK and are used here under the Open Government Licence v3.0. This site is not endorsed by DVSA, and DVSA is not responsible for how the figures are presented.
What the figures mean
- Pass rates cover car (category B) practical tests only. Motorcycle, lorry, bus and instructor tests are excluded.
- Waiting times are the median gap between booking a test and taking it, for candidates who sat a test that month. They are not the soonest bookable slot, which is usually much sooner.
- Coverage is Great Britain. England, Scotland and Wales only. Northern Ireland's tests are run by the DVA, which does not publish comparable centre-level statistics.
- Some centres show no figure. DVSA suppresses data where volumes are low enough to identify individuals. A dash means "not published", not zero.
- Recent figures are provisional. DVSA revises data from April 2025 onwards quarterly until the full year is finalised.
Accuracy
The data is processed automatically from DVSA's spreadsheets and was last rebuilt on 2026-08-01, covering 319 test centres. We take care over that process, but the site is provided "as is" and without warranty. Figures may be out of date between DVSA releases, and processing errors are possible.
Do not make an irreversible decision — booking, travelling, cancelling — on the basis of a number here alone. Confirm current details with DVSA before you act. We accept no liability for loss arising from reliance on this site.
Test centre locations are geocoded automatically. Where we could only resolve a town rather than the building, the page says so. Always use the address on your booking confirmation.

The underlying DVSA statistics are Crown copyright, available under the Open Government Licence. The written guides, layout and design of this site are © 2026 Atomik Teknoloji and may not be republished wholesale. Quoting a figure with a link back here is welcome.
